Dr. Robert Barbati, MD

I had an appointment with Dr. Barbati office and arrived 15 minutes early to do paper work. It took me 10 minutes to complete the paperwork and waited till 1PM to be seen. I sat in the waiting room for over 30minutes waiting to be seen while the front and back staff were on their cell phones. I was the only one in the lobby to be seen. I left and at 1:45 PM the office called my cell phone and stated that they just called my name to been seen in the back. So they have their on time patient waiting 45 minutes to be seen while they are on their cell phones looking at tic tok. I work in a medical office as well so I know how things are done..... Very unprofessional to have your staff sitting at the desk in front of patient talking and looking at their cell phones and talking and laughing while the patient are waiting to be seen past their appointment time. Patient come their for help not to watch your staff not do their job

As one other reviewer stated run for your life. No idea if Dr. Barbati is good, his office is terrible. They should all be replaced with staff that actually care about the patients and respond to the patient. I was rescheduled 3 times for my colonoscopy. They never was able to get my Blue Cross/Blue Shield insurance approved. Finally I called the office, actually spoke to office manager Rachel, got alot more excuses from her. So I just told her it was time for us to go our separate ways. I fired them!! DO NOT USE THIS DR.

I can see why this office gets bad reviews. I've attempted to make an appointment with them for the past week to no avail. I informed them I was on Medicare. However, I was scolded and told that they needed a referral before I can even speak with them. Rude and unprofessional. This was the first time as a Medicare patient that I needed to reach out to Medicare for a referral. Hopefully they will do their homework to correct their procedures and have a better rapport with their patients.

i was told i was constipated and then told come back in 6 months. i told dr b i was almost suicidal over my discomfort. he handed me a laxative and said nothing but use this. i said im suicidal over this its ruining my life ! he did nothing but say talk to your primary doc. im mentally dissabled and was treated like a criminal. hope i dont get worse pain in my intestines cause i cant take it. he didnt even suggest anything. its like i had leprosy. and he wears a crucifix , too bad he doesnt go by GODS law of mercy. GOD bless yall and help this dr get his head out of the clouds and realize when someone is hurting. lucky i dont sue. im so upset im shaking. time to go hit the heavy bag and pretend it is a person - get some anger out. i have rectal tenesmus and no shame about it. im going crazy. your pal and brother in CHRIST JESUS, michael persan

My wife and I both had referrals to Dr Barbati. The referrals were received two days after the initial appointment with our provider. We called the office for an appointment and they claimed to have a "bad fax machine" and stated they did not have our referral seven days later. We verified twice with the provider and Humana. It was sent and not processed by the practice. Both times they blamed the base....Virginia the phone operator said she would call the base and call me back...Again nothing. Wife diagnosed with cancer. Practice does not pursue timely assistance or help. Do not use.

Run for your life!!!

I found Dr. Barbati and his staff very cordial and professional. Dr. Barbati spent all the time I needed reviewing my medical history and explaining my upcoming procedure. And his staff was very friendly, knowledgeable and helpful as well. I give them all 5 stars.

He is such a bad doctor, i dont even know WHY he is in the medical field. he is a disgrace. Nasty waiting room. DONT COME TO THIS OFFICE!

Worst doctor I ever went to. He was just plain weird, rude, insulting, didn't listen, sarcastic, patronizing, not well informed, and his advice was contradictory to what another gastroenterologist had told me, and downright incorrect and dangerous.. Do NOT go to this man.

Very blunt. Most would probably say rude. He doesn't like to spend time with you to explain anything either. He is always inching towards the door during an appointment.
