Dr. Robert Earl Battmer, MD

I love Dr Battmer. He is 80 and thriving but also doesn’t have time for difficult people. He is a pioneer in his field and knows more about hormone replacement than anyone. He has his own in house studies from doing it his whole career! The man is incredible. He has the simplest approach to medicine that works! Plus he listens!

Dr. Battmer has been my doctor for my entire life. He has and continues to advocate for my health care needs and provides necessary treatments. When I have questions he is available to discuss my concerns and works with me to develop a course of action.

I have a big problem with Dr. Batter and his staff. I have medical insurance that he always took. When I went in for my annual his receptionist had me look at my information sheet and asked me if I still had the same insurance and I said yes.After my visit, I went to pay and was told that he did not take my insurance but I could file with them. I do not have out of network benefits. I had to pay for everything out of pocket.I feel that I should have been told this when I checked in. His receptionist is his daughter-in-law. His long time receptionist was fired so that he could hire her. When he fired B. he said things to her that I can not even repeat because they were so awful. I have no respect for this man.

Dr. Battmer was the only doctor who would listen to me about my symptoms if hypothyroidism, which included severe migraines. All the other doctors just wanted to give me anti-depressants to cope. I wanted the issues addressed, and he is the only one who would! Thank you Dr. Battmer!! I recommend him to everyone both male and female. He has helped my husband tremendously as well.

I am a 44 yrs old female patient. I had a total hyst 12 years ago after many years of struggle and my health rapidly declined. After years of seeking help from a large number of specialists, only to be left feeling hopeless, depressed and tired all the time Dr Battmer miraculously entered my life. He immediately diagnosed my problem and began treatment of bio identical hormone injections. I was shocked that evening to be feeling good. The next morning I awoke to find myself clear minded, ache free and beginning to see I actually did have hope of good health in my future. My life has dramatically improved. I am no longer suffering from frequent kidney stones and UTI's, my zest for life and my loving husband has returned, I have such an amazingly strong sense of well being, physically and mentally. I have deep admiration for a doctor who single handedly returned me to my previous self. His work is well researched and he has enormous compassion for his patients. His passion for this is… remarkable and his work is changing peoples lives on a daily basis. I have sent my mother, sister and many friends to him and I take great comfort in doing so as they have ALL experienced great improvement and gained strength physically, emotional and mentally as well. Only down side to any of this experience is the wait to see him as hundreds of others have found he has the answer to good health and a great life!!

When menopause came roaring in like a den of lions seemingly tearing apart every fiber of my being mentally and physically, a remedy had to be found. I had crossed paths with a few of Dr. Battmer's patients and saw in living color the results of his treatment. Within a couple of visits I felt a calmer clearer life being restored. Patient and caring describe him. He's the best!!!

Dr. Battmer give every single woman the same treatment - it is NOT personalized at all. He attempted to give me hormone shots on my first visit, without even seeing my blood results. When I questioned his approach he quickly got up from his chair, made copies of my file, handed them to me and suggested I see another doctor. It was bizarre and rude. I'm glad he's able to help some women feel better but I seriously question his ethics.

Dr. Battmer is awesome. I was sorry to read the bad reviews. From the other patients that I talk with in his waiting area, they were delighted to find him. Many have been his patients for Years. (a lot of years) He has always been very patient, kind, and willing to go the "extra" mile for me. His receptionist is a very nice; his nurse, too. They are constantly smiling and always have something nice to say.As for his book? After two years, I still refer to it. I have read many hormone books, but his is one of the best that I have read. It is clear and an easy read. He is an expert with bio-identical hormones and very knowledgeable; there is no area that he has not explored. He is a whiz at getting you balanced out and up and running once again. AWESOME DOC!!!
