Dr. Robert Emmanuel Benjamin, MD

Dr. Robert E. Benjamin, who used to be with Aventura Hospital's Trauma team, saved my son's life, and gave us further life-saving advice. Dr. Benjamin risked his life to save his patients. He is a man of courage, honesty and dedication in an environment of hard decisions and associates who do not have his compassion or understanding. I give him 5 stars and wish him safety and success.

I was admitted to Geisinger Medical Center in Danville, PA through the emergency department with a bleeding ulcer. Upon an attempt to stop the bleeding through a endoscopy procedure, the bleeding increased to the point that I coded. They called in an emergency surgical team. Dr. Robert E. Benjamin was the doctor who performed the surgical procedure. Following the surgery, Dr. Benjamin spoke to my wife who later told me that although he was very kind and explained things very well to her, it was clear that I had given him quite a job in the operating room. Many other physicians and nurses and others at the hospital were extremely surprised that I made it at all. I believe that the grace of God and Dr. Benjamin's amazing talent and gift pulled me through what really should have been my end.
