I have been a patient at SO Orthopedics on several occasions and with each and every injury they have always given me top notch care.

Dr Bents, Is absolutely awesome! I had shoulder surgery, damage my shoulder and muscles. He did a wonderful job on repairing it. I'm in physical therapy now. I'm feeling great! Thank you Dr Bents, your awesome!

I've had multiple surgeries with Dr. Bents. He and his whole team are very professional and compassionate! Unfortunately, I have more broken parts that he will be repairing...I will be back!

Dr. Bents did a really good job of explaining my injury and the need for the types of repair he was suggesting. I saw him as a second surgical consult and ended up choosing to switch to his services for his experience. He was mostly friendly. However, both times I have seen him (a single woman), he has sat as far from me in the room as possible. I would have liked if he had actually put his hands on my shoulder, even if he called a medical assistant into the room for his protection. In neither appointment did I feel rushed or that he wouldn’t take the time to answer my questions throughly. I had an amazing outcome from my complex shoulder repair surgery. I have and do recommend him.

Dr. Bents is very relatable. He always leaves time for questions and concerns.. Dr. Bents and his care team have worked seamlessly for me. During my most recent visit, he was very encouraging and made a point of letting me know that he was there for me.

Dr. Bents has taken care of my 9 year old son and myself. A specialist with a professional medical practice and background in sports medicine is crucial for the health of our community. Not impressed. I was rushed through the appointment even though I was the only payient on his side. Terrible bedside manner. I felt like nobody heard or listened to me even when I attempted to correct them on how I hurt my knee. It felt like they thought I was out to get money or that I was faking. I did feel like I was treated differently because of my weight. I was left sitting on the table after a cortisone shot was administered thinking what the heck just happened. They left me on the table with the expectation I could find my way out. I'm dreading my follow up appointment and will be looking for a second opinion.

Had my first visit for my knee, very friendly, on time. Nice office staff was great . The only thing that bothered me was the male Xray Technician wasn’t very nice on another visit I had the lady Technician and she was so friendly and kind so if you have to get x-rays asked for her. Looking forward to my next visit with Dr. Bents he is marvelous.
