Dr. Robert Eric Berg, MD

This doctor haunts me to this day and I should bring charges up against him for the way he treated me.not only is he unprofessional he is borderline a freak who thinks he is cross angel.blamed me for my dermatitis and I felt very uncomfortable as to why I had to sit there every visit with my top off alone in the exam room with just him when I was there for spots on my face.he constantly asked me if I had a hysterectomy what does that have to do with a pimple on my face .he went as far as chase me down the stairs after a visit and ask me oh I forgot to ask if u had a hysterectomy.and since when do dermatologist make personal visit one on one on a sunday afternoon he drove to his office to look at me in my bra.always dressed in ripped jeans.and one time he put me in a dark room just me and him cause he cut his finger on my earring to adl me if I had aides.Do Not GO TO THIS DOCTOR HAS MESSED UP MY LIFE THIS WAS YRS AGO and it still effects me.he lost his license for being a alcoholic why… is he still practicing

Passed his office by mistake, which made me 10-15 minutes late. I do realize the hardship it puts on an office when a patient is late - but never had a dr. literally yell & make threats due to my mistake.

It was a preventative care skin cancer screening, covered by my insurance. Then I get sent a bill. Rude billing lady, Sonia, said there's no preventative care cancer screening coding. The she says there may be, but since the doc found flaky skin (he prescribed moisturizer and sunblock) that it's an office visit and not screening. Wish they were more upfront on their billing practices.

Dr. Berg is an informal, friendly and good dermatologist, with a minimum of wait time. He discovered several spots on my skin which were pre-cancerous, and I'm thanful he found them. I also enjoy discussing Shakespeare and Dickens with him during my visit.

My Husband has a problem with a recurring skin infection. He recently saw a doctor and was given antibiotics which were not effective. My husband has cancer and is on chemotherapy which suppresses his immune system, therefore we decided that he should be seen by a specialist. I visited Healthgrades.com and found Dr. Berg. Dr. Berg has a 100% approval rating on healthgrades so I was thrilled that we were able to get an appointment for the next day. At Dr. Berg's office after filling out the required paperwork we were told to go back to an exam room. Dr. Berg came in dressed in stained sweat pants, a unitard?, and swim shoes. He took one look at my husband and told him he probably had eczema. My husband tried to explain to him that he had been having issues with a skin infection for some time, Dr. Berg touched the wound, without gloves on (!!!!!) and repeated that he thought it was eczema and that he could not help my husband. My husband started to protest and Dr. Berg informed him… that he mainly only treats skin cancer so there was nothing he could do for my husband. His parting words to us as he left the exam room were, "You have to find a different doctor, I can't help you." That is my suggestion for anyone in need of a Dermatologist, do yourself a favor and find a different doctor. If only I could give negative stars.
