82 yo father has been home 2 days from hospital. Still waiting for them to return my 3 calls on a mix up on blood thinners.

Spends NO time reviewing patient testing or communicating with patient, displays no caring attitude toward fixing a problem, is distant and distracted, and was not interested in resolving the issue I had. I ended up going to another cardiologist for help and resolved my problem.

Had a 9:20 am appointment. Did not get to see him until after 11:00 am. No apology or reason for this delay. He then spent a little more than 5 minutes with me, did not ask pertinent questions and ordered tests. Not a very good bedside manner and obviously does not respect your time. I found another doctor.

I waited TWO hours to see this guy and was subjected to his incredibly rude nurse. I finally left without seeing him and the office staff was uncaring and rude about me leaving. They saw no problem at making people wait for hours and acted like it was not unusual at all!

Its a long story, but he botched 2 pacemaker surgery's in a row. Never explained anything to us. Was rude. I was treated like a dog in his office. Take your loved one somewhere else!!!

Had the worst experience ever with a doctor!! Refused to come talk to me or my family before doing an emergancy pace maker! After 2 surgerys the pace maker still wasnt right!! Got a new Dr. and after 12 days in the hospital, I am home !!

The staff up front is very rude....I ask for an earlier appointment. ..the girl said he doesn't do morning buy comes back with you can do testing in the morning. .. like really ...I can put you at 12 or 1 but not til next year. ..omg I wanted to slap the crap out of her...I don't want to come back to the tenaya office at all they need to get better attitudes. ....if that's a high past job then hunni do yours or leave so someone else that can....omg

Dr. Berkley appears competent. When I questioned a treatment he recommended his response was trust me. I wanted facts not platitudes. When this answer did not satisfy me, he said I had insulted him and he yelled at me. I have never been subject to the kind of treatment I received from him by any medical professional. When you can not discuss a plan of treatment with your doctor as intelligent humans, it is time to walk out the door and not return.
