Dr. Robert V Bethel JR., DO

In 1977, as a young pregnant woman who had been disenchanted with another doctor in the area, I sought out Dr. Bethel on a recommendation from someone in my early-bird Lamaze class. I wanted a home delivery, but it was my first pregnancy and Dr. Bethel did not do first babies at home. I understood his position and asked that he still provide me with prenatal care. We agreed, he would provide me care and I agreed not to call him to the house when I went into labor. We were both good for our word. He was a most attentive doctor and I could not have asked for better care. After the birth of my daughter, he continued to treat us both until we moved out of state. I have never forgotten his kind and thoughtful consideration of my wishes and my health. I am delighted that he continues to practice and I recommend him to anyone who is lucky enough be be able to find him. Julia Gregory
