Dr. Robert Bien, MD

Dr Bien and his entire staff understands my pain issues. I feel that I am treated with respect and compassion. The communication is outstanding.

I went to see this person because I had several fractured vertebrae and after this person saw my MRI he was as confident ,no problem I can fix those for you. So about 2 weeks latter there I was on the table I was told by my mother she could hear me screaming ,the reason I did not know is I was still under sedation at the time. It was late for that time of year sun almost down and my mother doing all she could to get me calmed down and that was after 4 shots IV of Demerol at 100mg per should have put down a Bear but there I was still screaming and this person stomping around the recovery room yelling he did nothing wrong while my legs went completely out no feeling at all. The surgery center had to call an ambulance 2 months latter I finely went home. almost 10 years latter a Neurosugeon tells me there is a clear scar where this person had punctured my Spinal cord and I had some spinal fluid leak thats why my legs went numb ,he knew at the time what he had done and from looking on the… Nevada Medical Board and he does have complaints and I can only guess he knew there would have been another if I ever found out what he had done to me. If you need a pain management doctor find a real doctor not a ,I am not a person that makes up bad names and will keep it that way.

I went to Dr Bien for a Spinal Lumbar Epidural Steroid Injection for my Spinal Stenosis pain which was down the outside of my right leg. He gave me an injection in the Sacral area of the spine. Much lower than where I needed it. The medicine went down the BACK of my leg NOT the outside of the leg like I told him. The shot was so painful I couldn't stay still. I could have easily screamed. He is careless, uncaring, not careful and self serving and unnecessarily joking. NOTHING is funny! He did NOT clean or sterilize my skin before the injection. He left me open to get living BACTERIA! I did not realize all this happened until too late. It was so fast. I have had these injections for over 7 years to control my pain. He is the ONLY doctor who did not sterilize the area. I could get spinal meningitis! I will keep you updated. I am praying for the best. This is my experience and opinion of the doctor.

From just the few visits that I had (still going.) I find Dr Bien as well as his staff amazing. I’m so grateful that my primary referred myself to this establishment. Thank you Dr Bien, you’re amazing as well as all your staff. God Bless??

This dr over perscribes pain meds. My husband has been on them for 9 years non stop. Ridiculous

Dr. Bien and his staff have been wonderful in all our experiences with them. I recommend him highly. I am a retired RN and don't often find docs who deserve such a high rating but he and his entire staff are just terrific.

He took time with me and diagnosed my problem. He was very pleasurable with me spent time to listen to my problems , and understood I was in pain. Took time to find the problem. When I was seeing him was in 2003. Possibly moving back to Nevada and will reach out to see if I can come back as his patient
