Dr. Robert Charles Biesbroeck, MD

I know I am not a doctor, and he is the "specialist". However, I am not going to immediately begin putting chemicals/nuclear medication in my body just because he recommended it. What happened to trying other treatment recommendations first before going so extreme. By his tone and his response, he was not too happy when told him that his recommendation to take medication is not option until all other treatment options (non chemical) have explored. Even if I have to start see another doctor.

I have been going to Dr, B, for a year because there is no one else around to go to, Maybe I will be able to find someone else now that I have changed insurance plans. He does not like me to talk at all. He wants to do all the talking. He doesn't ask anything. He TELLS me what the blood tests show. He TELLS me what to do with no explanation as to why. This last time that I saw him was the first time that he let ME talk because I pushed through in order to tell him that I was going to have an operation and I wanted to know if there was anything I should do differently with my medications. He told me what needed to be done but when I asked for clarification, he looked at me as if I were a dunce and did not clarify anything. Now I am going to have to ask him again for the surgeon doing the surgery - maybe I will ask the surgeon's office to do the asking. I just can't imagine why he became a doctor. Maybe he was nicer when he first started his practice because if he was the way… he is now, bitter and completely unfeeling and uncaring, no one would ever have gone back to him for a second visit. Also, it has rubbed off to his staff or maybe they just don't like working with him, but they are not very compassionate either.

I had the very worst experience with this Dr. Don't waste your precious time with him. Please go somewhere else! He was a total *&#$!

I was referred to Dr Biesbroeck for my son. One of his billing staff accused me of "insurance fraud" because I told her we did not use his AHCCCS medical benefits. Then she said "he shouldn't qualify" for them if we don't use them. What kind of people talk to patients and parents like this? Since I work full time, he is covered by my insurance through my work and by Medicare. Until I quit or retire, that's the way it will be. I have also had the same problems I read about regarding difficulty making appointments, actaully talking to the nurse to get prescriptions renewed, and phone calls not returned. I am definitely looking for a new endocrinologist just because of his staff..

I CAN NOT GET THIS OFFICE TO DO MY MAIL ORDER RX CORRECTLY NOR CAN I EVER TALK TO A PERSON! HIS NURSE IS NICE BUT NEVER RETURNS CALLS REGARDING MEDS. DR. B. USED TO BE NICE, NEVER REALLY TOO CONCERNED, GIVES YOU THE LAB RESULTS, DON'T TAKE TIME TO LISTEN AND THIS LAST VISIT HE CHEWED ME OUT BECAUSE MY HUSBAND COULDN'T REMEMBER WHAT MEDS NEEDED FILLED AND TOLD HIM TO ASK ME (SAME DAY, SAME APPT TIME) WHEN I COULDN'T REMEMBER FAST ENOUGH TO SUIT HIM HE WAS RUDE AND CONDESENDING. ALSO DUE TO MEDICARE AND INSURANCE RULES PHARMACIES HAVE TO HAVE ALL RX'S CALLED OR FAXED IN AT THE SAME TIME FOR DIABETES MEDS SO THAT THEY CAN BE COVERED UNDER ONE COPAY, HE REFUSES, HE WILL EMAIL IN THE INSULIN ONLY AND HIS NURSE HAS TO DO THE OTHERS SO THEREFORE MAIL ORDER PHARMACY CONSIDERS THEM TO BE SEPARATE. I SPECIFICALLY ASK HIM TO CALL IN VIALS OF MY INSULINE AND NOT THE PIN NEEDLES THIS TIME, HE IGNORED ME AND SENT THE RX IN WITH JUST THE NAME AND AMOUNT OF MEDS AND INSURE SENT WHAT THEY NORMALLY HAD… SENT. I'D LOVE TO FIND A NEW ENDO BUT WHERE!!! I MAY HAVE TO TRAVEL TO PHOENIX.

I will be going elsewhere,due to frustration getting in contact with this office or getting them to respond to a message. This has happened on several occasions, and to others I know that have gone here. The final straw was having to drive to the office to reschedule an appointment, at their request! After several unanswered calls. When I asked the receptionist what the problem was with calls not being answered, she informed me that alot of older people, dont know how to operate the phone system!!!I am in my 50s!!Good luck.

i approached him about changing my medicine to combine a source of t4 and direct t3,not only did he roll his eyes at me,he laughed and said t3 is unreliable and that they did not use it there.he never even tested my t3,yet he said i didnt need it.wont be going back.

I have been under Dr. B care for 5 months now for Diabetes II and now a nodule on my Thyroid. I had a Thyroid Biospy today and he was excellent. He explained every step he took, talked to me before and after and I have never felt rushed by him. He is kind and caring and I love his office staff.

Dr. Biesbrock has been my endo for over 4 years. At first he was wonderful but the last few visits (and there have been plenty because I was pregnant) have been horrible. The wait time was atrocious! I ended up having to leave one appointment after waiting an hour because I had to pick up my daughter. The last appointment he was over an hour late. I hadn't had lunch that day so I was starving. I asked his medical assistant how much longer and she looked at me and stated "it is going to be awhile. There are several more in front of you." So I asked if I could run out quickly. She stated that it was fine. I was gone maybe 15 minutes. When I got back I was put to the back of the line and had to wait another 45 min!! When I mentioned the wait problem with Dr. Biesbroeck the response I received was "well you shouldn't have left." REALLY!?!?! Unfortunately, I've been trying to find a new endo and all seem to have pretty lousy reviews! Insane!

I traveled from Montana to accompany my 83 year old father to an appointment with this man. His arrogance was overwhelming as well as his inability to be interested in my father's condition. He basically told him that everything that had been done up to this point was wrong and "Who put you on this? Why did he order this?" Offered NO answers on what he thought was wrong. I wonder if he is really an MD, he certainly gives new meaning the the term "practicing medicine" Obviously he had a note from home excusing him from practice.
