Dr. Robert Dennis Blute JR., MD

My doctor contacted Dr. Blute personally. I had a bladder infection that he thought a cystoscopy could help. It seemed to be antibiotic resistant. After a 2 hour wait, with a raging bladder infection, I finally saw the doctor. He asked me to cough. said no hernias and left. I thought he was coming back but that wasn't the case. I was just dumbfounded. My doctor was shocked too being that he had contacted him. The next visit my doctor also set up. He did the same thing and I had to actually grab his arm and stop him from leaving. I told him "I'm not here for a hernia at all. My doctor wants you to give me a cystoscopy" He also gave me a prescription for the pain while I was waiting for the operation that wasn't even fillable. The whole thing was a nightmare and dragged on way longer than it should have. The end result was that I was a mess inside and now will probably never be the same again. I have to urinate way too frequently to avoid pain.

Dr. Blute is a good doctor. No complaints about that. The main problem - overbooking, So his wait time is couple hrs. Another concern - company that does billing for him (Salisbury associates). Very rude people. Demand payments even if you already paid. Threaten to send paid bill to collection. They promised to check 3times why the paid bill is not reflected in their system but during next phone calls I found that they even did not bother to put info that I called. Supervisor just hung ups on you. A lot of fun.

Did not seem to have reviewwed my file. Did not remember suggestions for future treatments made at previous visits. After long wait to get in the Dr. seemed to be in a rush to get to the next patient.

Dr. Blute is a nice person without any questions. Two main problems: waiting time is more 2hr if you are not the first two patients. I visited him 5 times, every time it was delay 2-3 hrs (never less than 2). An advise: ask his secretary what would be EXPECTED (not scheduled) time. Second advise. If your problem is not severe I would recommend somebody else.

Dr. Blute has been my Dr. for over 12 years now. He has an excellent bed side manner. He makes me feel comfortable and always listens carefully. If I didn't have Dr. Blute I don't know what I would do. You may have to wait...but he is absolutely worth the wait!!
