Dr. Robert B. Booher is a native of Indianapolis. He is the son of Dr. Norman Booher and Dr. Olga Bonke Booher, long time physicians of Indianapolis.
Dr. Booher attended Shortridge HighÂ School, in 1971 he received a B. S. degree from Purdue University in West Lafayette, Indiana, and in 1975 he received a D.D.S. degree from Indiana University School of Dentistry.
He served two years of active duty as a Dentist at Fort Bragg in North Carolina. After a brief associateship, he started Associates in Family Dentistry in 1980. After 17 years in the Kroger Shopping Center at the corner of Rockville Road and Girls School Road, Dr. Booher moved the practice to his new state of the art facility in Avon in 1997, where the practice is today.
Dr. Booher is a member of the American Dental Association, the Indiana Dental Association, the Indianapolis District Dental Society, the American Academy of Cosmetic Dentistry, the Central Indiana Implant Study Club, and is an associate member of the Chicago …Dental Society. He is a former board member for the Jameson Camp. Dr. Booher has been involved with Donated Dental Services since it's inception. He is a member of the Scottish Rite and is currently a major in the retired Army Dental Corps. reserve.
Dr. Booher has participated every year in numerous continuing education courses, concentrating specifically on Cosmetic Dentistry and Endodontics (Root Canals).
Dr. Booher was voted "Best Dentist in Hendrick's County" in 2003, 2004, and 2005.
Dr. Booher and his wife Shirley reside in Zionsville, with their daughter Megan. They attend Zionsville Presbyterian Church.

The staff is always friendly and Dr. Booher treats my family with kindness and respect. He walks through the treatment and pricing before hand and checks in with me while he is filling cavities or performing major dental work to make sure that I am doing ok. I always appreciate his attentiveness.

The staff was very professional and quick. They answered any questions I had and explained everything as I had it done. I love this place and will recommend this office to everyone. My teeth were cleaned by Kristi and she was very gentle. Diane did a great job with my temporary front tooth. It looked natural. Rebecca did a great job placing my permanent tooth. Both Dr.s did a great job as well. Both of my visits were amazing!

My husband and I have been going to AFD for a few years now and we just absolutely love them! The staff is always so informative and comforting during your visit. I am not a fan of the dentist, as most people, and I always leave knowing that all my needs were taken care of! The dentists take their time with you and address all of your questions and concerns. They are never rushed to get to the next patient and ensure you leave with everything you need to take the best care of your teeth! Huge thanks to the staff and dentists, I would recommend AFD to anyone!!!

Everyone at AFD is great. I have been a patient for many years. I have never had a bad experience. Everything is always explained well. I recommend AFD to everyone looking for a new dentist.

Dr. Booher and his team are amazing, kind and exceptionally skilled. Our son is smiling now which wasn't the case for over 10 years due to an accident. Dr. Booher was able to give a beautiful smile, pride and confidence that we thought was gone forever. From the bottom of our hearts we thank all of you.
