Dr. Robert Clyde Bowman, MD

I will NEVER go to see Dr. Bowman again! As a doctor when I saw him myself I was not disappointed. However, after dealing with him about my daughter I will NEVER use or recommend him again. I took my daughter to him when she broke out in a rash which is what HE said it was at the time. However, a friend of mine who had previously had shingles said it looked like the same thing because it didn't cross the midline in the back and other symptoms. I took her back and he said YES it was the shingles. He prescribed her medicine for it and it cleared up. I wasn't upset about that. I am however upset when she tried to get confirmation that she had the chicken pox for school and was treated rudely. She was told it was a rash and wouldn't speak with her. I went to see him and just wanted to clarify why she was told that. He wouldn't see me but was clearly there. I told them I would wait and after 15 minutes he finally came out. It was apparent he was irritated but I explained and because I… am persistent and want explanations he YELLED at me and told me he'd find out who told her that and make their life miserable. I did not deserve that type of treatment just because I asked for an explanation. He was still yelling at me as I walked out the door and I told him do what you want because he was not going to treat me in that manner. If you don't want to explain then maybe you shouldn't be in the medical field.
