Female staff thinks they know more than he does. They want patients to do their work.

I have been a patient of his for many of years. I have asthma, I have had this since I was 12. For many of years I do not need medication, but 2 years ago I had a problem and I need medication all the time now. Dr Boyd wanted me to come in every six months for a reevaluation which was fine with me, but due to Covid I did not or was not informed by his office to come in. But he took it upon himself to deny my medication I need to breathe. He denied my refill which I need to continue to live. For anyone with breathing problems we all know we need our nebulizer and emergency inhalers to survive. He took a oath never to do harm. I think he should remember that. I have recommended him to many people, but never again

Does not care about you just his wallet

I had a 9.50 appointment for a family member, we were not seen until 12.30. I was not offered an apology, or any type of compensation. Dr. Boyd is a good doctor don't get me wrong, but when a patient says, "I have been waiting for 3 hours, I would atleast like an apology" And the doctor says "I cannot offer an apology" it pisses me off to tell someone about it. In fact, 2 people arrived AFTER we arrived. Those 2 people in paricular were seen BEFORE us. We were waiting a full hour after his weight was checked, in the office just waiting to be seen by the doctor. If I got an apology from one of the 3 people I complained to, I wouldnt have bothered writing this out. However, this is the most unacceptable wait at a doctors officeI have ever had. It was bad enough the parking lot had no open parking spots when we pulled in. All I wanted was some type of "I am sorry this happened to you." Now, they are getting a bad review. Make sure you pack lunch and dinner if you want to… schedule your next appointment.

Dr. started off okay. But has too many patients and did not have any time to help me. Staff was very bad. They were insulting and need to be replaced.

Terrible staff. Dr. did not spend enough time or follow up.

recently, my insurance changed and I thought I was going to lose Dr. boy as my primary doctor. after fighting with my insurance company I was able to keep him. Dr. Boyd takes his time to get to know each patient, their medical history, and their medical issues. Most doctors rush you in and out of the office because you are simply a number to them, but not Dr. Boyd. He learns your personal story, your medical and family history and allows you to leave with a wonderful peace of mind. All 5 members of my family have been seeing him for almost 20 years.

Did not have to wait more than 15 min for my appt, Every time I needed to see him he had been always available. Dr Boyd is a very careing knowledgeable, concise to the point professional in his field.I would recommend him to anyone.

My family has been going to Dr. Boyd for over 35 years, we have always found him being concerned about our welfare. Even when I had seen another doctor and went to see him he spent over 45 minutes explain all the details of the testing that was being done. He Took excellent care of my Mother and Father and always showed compassion when their life was coming to an end. He has treated us and when needed sent us to a specialist. I have never had an issue with getting my medication called to the pharmacy and getting it in a timely fashion. If it is time for an appointment before the refill is authorized he has allowed for a limited number of pills if I am unable to get there in time as with the recent snow storms. I acknowledge that the wait time is longer then we want at time but I find the care he give me and my husband is worth it.

I've been going to Dr. Boyd for nine years. He is by far the best doctor in Woodbridge New Jersey. Dr. Boyd takes his time and listens to his patients. I would recommend anyone to go to his family practice. The staff is also courteous and professional.
