He has served as the medical director of Bon Secours Hyperbaric and Wound Care Center at DePaul Medical Center for over 5 years. In addition, he served as a specialty adviser to the Navy Surgeon General, and also served as an assistant professor of plastic surgery at Eastern Virginia Medical School in Norfolk, Virginia.
