Dr. Robert E Brewka, DDS

This orthodontist can be scammy... be careful. This is my experience. I had a rough experience with Robert Brewka through Capitol Premeir Dental in Denver. I went in for a consultation for aligners after being recommended by the dentists at Capitol Premeir. He practices in their office once a month which is already super inconvenient because he rarely has availability. During this consultation they estimated my treatment would take about a year and then did a scan of my teeth. I was then given an estimate of cost which I said my insurance would not fully cover so I needed to decide and weigh my options. I was also given a referall to get an xray needed for the aligners since they don't do xrays in that location (also super inconvenient). After about a week of looking at other options I decided this treatment was not for me and called to say so. On the call I learned that they had already ordered aligners for me without me signing any agreements or getting an xray!! Then after the call… I was charged to my insurance. This charge was for the full amount of the year of treatment before it had even started (and before I had agreed). I told insurance to hold off on the charge and went through a process with Capitol Premeir and Robert Brewka in order to remove the charge and prevent any further proceedings with treatment. Overall, I recommend being cautious with them. I have no experience with actual treatment because luckily I avoided being roped in. I appreciate thier willingess to remove the charges even though it was a scam in the first place. This was my first time ever managing my own dentist/ orthodontist and I want to warn anyone looking to be aware of scams and ploys that are more common in this business than I thought! oops another note I almost forgot to add... he is a bit of a creep with women.

Dr. Brewka did my son's orthodontics and his teeth are beautiful. Dr. Bob is extremely knowledgable and very pleasant to work with.

One of the most unprofessional providers I have ever met. Comes across as very arrogant, judgmental, and condescending. I've even heard him make derogatory remarks about his own staff. He holds the degrees; but has his untrained staff do all the work. The last straw for me was when I noticed the condition of the tools the staff were using. These things were rusty and appeared to be unclean. Will never go back. In fact, I warn people about this practice every chance I get. I'm an adult patient and have seen a number of orthodontists over the years because of my job-related relocations. This guy, by far, was the absolute worst.
