Dr. Robert Bright, MD

Very good listener. I was able to tell him I had been being abused for the past 10 years. He was the very first person I told. He made me feel comfortable. Got my meds right too.

It is quite rare when one finds a practitioner whom is in possession of both profound intellectual brilliance and a heart of gold. Dr. Bright truly embodies both of these qualities, which truly makes him nothing less than an anomaly. I feel truly blessed to have had the privilege to have been his patient; if only for a short while.

The psychiatrist my husband had seen was not available when I called Mayo. Dr. Bright returned my call and was very helpful to me. He reviewed the diagnosis my husband had been given and was very helpful to me to understand the diagnosis he'd been given earlier at another facility. I am most appreciate to his wisdom, suggestions, explanations and compassion to me. He spent as much time as I need in our phone conversation. Thank you, Dr. Bright! You helped me very much.

In all fairness, Dr. Bright knows what he's talking about. He is very knowledgeable in his field and asks a lot of questions. From my experience, however, I felt rushed and even judged in his office to a degree. This guy is great if you're focused on finding someone who is willing to perscribe medication quickly and mostly efficiently. Just don't count on any compassion or for him to ever admit when he's wrong in his jusgement of your condition.
