Dr. Robert Greville Brummett, MD

I was a patient of Dr. Brummett's years ago. I complained often of dizziness and shortness of breath. I explained I had a feeling in my chest that felt like the blood wasn't flowing properly. I had pain in my left arm, I couldn't no longer work because of how severe my symptoms were. I have a strong family history of heart problems. My dad died at age 50 of a heart attack, my mother died age 73 congestive heart failure. I repeatedly complained to him over the course of 2-3 years approximately. He replied constantly with, its anxiety. Former Dr.s' had me on antidepressants and he thought It was all in my head. I should have never been on them meds to start with. He wanted to increase my Ativan, and I said absolutely not ! I had a stress test some time before and passed it. I had tests on my lungs and were fine. The heart and lungs were then ruled out. He really should have continued to find the problem. I later always passed my stress tests except for one. That one was ordered by Dr.… Brummett after I complained of chest pain, like an elephant sitting on my chest. Then I was sent to a cardiologist and to the cath. lab. I had 6 blockages at once ! over the course of 4 years, I had 10 stents, several angioplasties, brachytherapy in Washington D.C. and a double by-pass !!! Because of Mr. Brummett, and his delay of almost 3 years, I was unable to receive social security because I had to diagnosis. I lost my work credits and am now on ssi, welfare, after working all my life. Thank you Dr. Brummett for you good physician skills !!!! you really changed my life !!!!!

Dr. Brummett is very professional, yet personable. If he does not know a resolve to your problem, he knows who to refer you to and wastes no time in doing so.
