Dr. Robert K Bryan

Robert Bryan, D.D.S., M.S.
Dr. Robert Bryan has his roots firmly planted in the Lehigh Valley. He was born and raised here. He went to Parkland High School and graduated from Muhlenberg College before leaving the area for his graduate training. He attended Georgetown University for dental school, Loyola University and the University of Michigan for pediatric dentistry and, finally, Northwestern University for his master’s degree in orthodontics. While at Northwestern, he received the prestigious annual post-graduate award for his master’s thesis.
Dr. Bryan also completed a residency in hospital dentistry through Sacred Heart Hospital and is very actively involved in teaching and lecturing the dental residents in all the local hospitals. He also constantly attends many continuing education courses to assess and introduce the latest technology and orthodontic techniques.
He strongly believes in maintaining a progressive practice in which every patient is treated with individualized …treatment plans to achieve maximum outcomes. His dual training in pediatric dentistry and orthodontics allow him a unique perspective on evaluating and treating younger patients, enabling him to integrate growth and development concepts into ongoing orthodontic treatments.
Dr. Bryan is a member of multiple orthodontic and dental societies including the American Association of Orthodontists, the Pennsylvania Orthodontic Society, and the local Lehigh Valley Society of Orthodontists where he served as president for five years. He is also a member of the ADA, PDA and Lehigh Valley Dental Society.
Dr. Bryan also has a strong commitment to the local community. He is on the Board of Directors and serves as the program director for Embrace Your Dreams, the Lehigh Valley Chapter of the First Tee (golf) and First Serve (tennis), which improves the lives of hundreds of underserved area youth. These programs teach life “core values” such as respect, honesty and responsibility. He has been coaching various sports from youth levels all the way to having been a college coach.
Dr. Bryan is married and has four children. He is involved with coaching their local youth association teams and still finds time to golf, play tennis. He is an avid reader.
