Dr. Robert Eric Bryan, MD

Dr. Bryan joined WillingwayHospital as Staff Physician in 1990 and served in this capacity until 2010 when he was named Medical Director of the hospital. He served as Medical Director of Pineland Mental Health/Mental Retardation/Substance Abuse Center in Statesboro from 1989 to 2009. After interning in Internal Medicine in Alabama, he served as Assistant Chief of Primary Care Clinic and Director of Base Emergency Medicine for the United States Air Force at the U.S. Air Force Hospital in Warner Robins, Georgia. In the early 1980s, prior to moving to Statesboro, he was an Emergency Room Physician at several large hospitals in south Georgia.

He is a member of the AmericanAcademy of Family Physicians, Georgia Academy of Family Physicians and the American Society of Addiction Medicine. Dr. Bryan lectures extensively on the nature of the illness of alcoholism, Cross Addiction, AIDS and Cocaine Addiction. He is certified in Addiction Medicine by the American Board of Addiction Medicine. …He is a Certified Medical Review Officer by the Medical Review Officer Certification Council.
