Dr. Robert John Bury

2000- After my 5th miscarriage, Dr. Bury said I would "never" get pregnant again, there was "no need" for me to get my tubes tied. There was a "one in a million chance" I would ever get pregnant again. And when I pushed to have my tubes tied, he said,"Don't waste my time, don't waste your money". Surprise, Dr. Bury was wrong. It is now 2013 and I am 9 weeks pregnant- naturally, no drugs or medical intervention needed. 2000- Dr. Bury told me I would need to take birth control pills and Spironolactone "the rest of my life" to even out my hormones. I stopped taking them in 2008, and lost 90 pounds since 2000. 85 % of my hormone craziness went away when I lost 90 lbs. Once again, Dr. Bury was wrong. 2003-- I had a pap test that was High grade pre cancerous. Dr. Bury said I needed a cone biopsy. This would be like cutting off your thumb if you broke a nail. I had 2 more pap tests with 2 other doctors--both came back low grade pre cancerous..and I needed a 15 minute office procedure… to remove some cervical spots. Moral of story--had I listened to Dr. Bury, I would have a big chunk cut out of my cervix, I would be taking $125 worth of unneeded medications per month. There is still no explanation why Dr. Bury thinks he is god and claimed I would "never" get pregnant again. I am living proof that he is dead wrong.

Dr. Bury has been my OB since I can remember, he even delivered me! He is my Mom's OB and now he's mine. It's nice because he knows the family history and problems we have. I trust no one else for my ob/gyn care. His treatments are exact for what I need. While I was pregnant, he was always there for me. I had to have an emergency c-section. It was scary, but Dr. Bob answered my questions and made me at ease. Follow up care was great, he came to the hospital everyday to check on me, instead of sending his nurse assistant. Dr. Robert Bury is great!
