Dr. Robert Christopher Buss, MD

I had an appointment at 1pm to see Dr. Buss and I got to the office at exactly 1pm. A little back story, my daughter's home health aide happened to be rear ended on the way to my home, my daughter has cerebral palsy so I couldn't bring her with me to my appointment. That's why I got there at 1pm instead 15-30 min early to do paperwork. So I get the paperwork and start filling it out. Dr. Buss comes out at 1:15pm and says "I have an appointment at 1:30pm", I said oh can I finish the paperwork after?" He said he uses it for the appointment. I showed him I was on the last part and he looked at where I was and said "ok, just give it to Stacy when you're done". Which I did, literally 30 seconds later. I was called to the back, Gail got my vitals, asked some questions and then Dr. Buss opens the door to tell Gail, "I'm putting the chart on the door for the next patient WHO WAS ON TIME", and closes the door. I finish up with Gail and she said she was going to get Dr.Buss for me. I heard him… tell her again in the hallway something about his other patients who were ON TIME. I'm just listening like wow, his condescending tone and behavior is really unbelievable. So I sit in the room for another 45 min or so and Gail comes back in to tell me that he won't see me until ALL of the other patients have gone today, which would be for a couple more hours. So literally when he came out at 1:15pm he could've just said that or said I would need to reschedule, but he instead decided to be an a-hole about it, which is highly unprofessional and rude for no reason. You never know what people are going through and not that it's an excuse what I have going on in my personal life, but I did make it to my appointment ON TIME. There's no need to treat people that way. Dr. Buss is truly disgusting for that. He needs to learn to be a professional and just simply say "I won't be able to see you today, we'll have to reschedule". It's not that hard. Then as I'm leaving out once I finally get notified he had no intentions on seeing me for hours, I pass him and makes sure to hurry and step back so he's not seen and that's because he knew he was dead wrong. Just a shame, I'll be going elsewhere.

Dr. Buss has the bedside manner of a porcupine! I went into today as I was feeling pretty awful. Usually see another provider but because of the short notice had to take who was available. Not a very good communicator and never smiled once! Should have asked which meds I thought would work well for me as my primary doctor does. Will not see this doctor again!
