Dr. Robert Louis Callery, DDS

Dr. Callery jiggled a loose filling and it fell out when I got to the car. I told him I could feel it sticking out with my tongue, and he said, "No, you cant." I asked if he could do the filling that day and he wouldn't make time. I was going out of town so I found another dentist who filled it that day. The second dentist found two areas of decay, one pretty big. How does a dentist who charges $284 for "an extensive oral examination" that takes an hour NOT FIND DECAY? The other thing that disturbed me was Dr. Callery wouldn't let my husband see the color of the new crown he was getting, but told him, "Our expert will pick the color." My husband just wanted to see it. Dr. Callery also punctured my skin three times when doing the oral exam, where you go around the teeth and do the numbers on each tooth. That never happened to me before and it hurt. I did not feel good about Dr Callery from the get go and should have listened to my instincts. I have to say, Megan, the dental hygienist,… was wonderful, but you cant get a cleaning unless you get a full oral exam. I love my new dentist, and feel very comfortable and safe with her.
