Dr. Robert Craig Candipan, MD

Had a srent put in January 26 , 2 days later I'm in er with classic signs of heart attack , this procedure was done by different dr , 1 week later he went back in to check if I had any blockages was told my heart looked great no blockages was told must have been spasms in artery , 2 weeks later I'm having chest pain daily couldn't even take garbage can to curb with out having severe chest pain , my wife says you need a second opinion from different dr , so I contacted dr candipan who was my 1 st cardiologist I had when I moved here 5 years ago , he looks at all my records and ultrasound , and other procedures that were done called me into office visit couple days later tells me I have 95 percent blockage in a small diagonal artery off the main descending artery and would need stent ASAP, 3 days later they go in and just what he told me was wrong , is what was causing my chest pain now 2 months later I feel great ,have energy , back to working out I can't thank dr cardigan enough !!!

I walked in and was greeted with all smiles. They even laughed at my joke! Even though the procedure was uncomfortable due to my chronic condition, they did everything they could to make me as comfortable as possible.

First visit and he seems helpful and was listening to concerns

Was the first meeting with Dr.Candipan and the first impression was positive. I am doing so well after he performed the left heart cath and that speaks of his talent in surgery. A very pleasant man. I highly recommend him.

Dr. Candipan is a wonderful cardiologist. He takes the time to go over details and answer all questions. A very knowledgeable doctor. I'm so glad my friend suggested I see him.

I was very pleased with my visit with Dr Candipan. He was extremely helpful with explaining my situation and why the no urologist required my time with him. I felt his information was very complete and encouraging for my upcoming surgery.

Dr Candipan is one of the best cardiologists I have ever seen. He communicates very well and helps you understand all phases of procedures and what to expect before and after ! He also shows interest in you as a person and is genuinely interested in how you feel about your health . Compassionate, soft spoken, with a true healing touch . Dr Candipan is an experienced and well educated cardiologist. I owe him my life. If he hadn't recommended the cardiac calcium test on me I surely would have died. As it was, he recommended immediate open heart surgery on me. My heart had 2 of its main arteries totally closed and third one about 75% closed. Dr C, "U da man"!

Dr Candipan and nursing staff were excellent. They knew what questions to ask about another medical issue I have and advised on how to manage it relative to this procedure. If they had not asked those questions, I would have done the wrong thing going forward.

Dr. Candipan is professional and thorough. I couldn’t be more pleased with the treatment I received.
