Dr. Robert N Chang

The reason for 1 Star rating has 100% to do with Office Manager Lisa.Yes, dentist offices are dealing with new guidelines due to COVID-19. We also have additional difficulties in this area due to recent landfall of Hurricane Laura. However, when a family member was 6-minutes late to appointment (can prove this due to cell phone documentation) due to taking a family member to St. Elizabeth prior to dental appointment for amputation surgery, Lisa showed no empathy or was willing to "bend their rules". In her defense, she DID offer to take him to do a portion of what he was scheduled to have done. Here explanation is that taking him for full procedure, would put the next patient 6 minutes behind. Their rule is a zero late policy as well as a zero early policy. For example, his rescheduled time is 2:20. He is to walk in the office door PRECISELY at 2:20, not one minute early or late. Next, he called 19 times from 12:29-1:35 to reschedule, and nobody answered. Since Dr. Chang must… work with limited staff, my recommendation is that her hire someone to make appointments "off site". WHY family member sees Dr. Chang regularly due to ongoing dental work. No complaints about Dr. Chang. Unless you want to face an office staff where all they want to do is tell you how tough they have it for months, instead of being THANKFUL they have a job in this post-Covid economy, enter the office at your own risk!

WE LOVE DR CHANG AND HIGHLY RECOMEND HIM

I have been going there since they opened. At first they were very clean and they saw you right away. They have become a little slower in getting you in but still better than most. The secretaries were a little more friendlier in the beginning But Dr. Chang is really nice. If you can, try and get Nancy. She is thorough with the cleanings and germ contious.

He was willing to do extractions only. We had made a plan last year, but I was unable to get the work done. Now, my insurance no longer pays for dentures. I can only have done what my insurance is willing to pay for. I will go back after I save money for dentures.
