Dr. Robert Thomas Ciotola, MD

I mistakenly sat in this doctor's office for 20 minutes. Signage for the Quest Lab Mystic, CT location is horrible. I sat in the doctor's office across the hall from the Quest office for 20 minutes (sign outside door says Dr office and Quest with an arrow pointing to the left). Quest text says we know you are here, no need to check in. I finally asked at the reception desk and was told this isn't Quest and you've just missed your chance because they are now closed. This woman in reception stared at me for 20 minutes and never asked if she could help me with anything. I made it across the hall with 2 minutes to spare. The sign said closed but the door was open. I was half way checking in on the kiosk and they asked if I knew they closed at 4. I explained what happened and they graciously took me in for my bloodwork. Very thankful that they were so kind. I can't believe how rude the secretary was at the doctor's office.

I've been a patient (aka customer) for at least a decade. Dr. C is pleasant and thorough. However, every time I've ever requested something be mailed to me, it's been promised but never arrived. I called 3 weeks ago today and left a message asking for a return call from the assistant I made the request to, who knows my case, and there's still no call.

I’d give him a zero! If you ask him questions he drops you like a hot potato. Then he has someone else talk down to you!
