Dr. Robert Stebbins Clawson, MD

In 2015, I was referred to Dr. Clawson by my PCP regarding a trauma I received on the bus when a driver took an illegal left turn and the bus driver slammed the brakes in order to save his life; however, my life has been marked forever being on thrown on my right hip on the floor of the bus. This happened in 2008. In 2015, my x-ray of my roght hip was seen by Dr. Clawson, who immediately offered to do a surgery - total hip replacement. There was no further preparation like sending me to another doctor for second opinion. I still believe that I should have been referred for a second opinion. It was a very serious surgery. After the surgery I have spent 19 days in a rehabilitation facility to treat me for anemia and law blood pressure. I remember, one night in that facility, my heart rate went above 110. I called the medical staff. Shortly after that, I requested information about my recent heart rate. The event with my heart rate was removed from the log. When I was discharged from the… rehabilitation facility, there was a new diagnose in my file: cardiovascular problem. Even now, almost five years later, my cardiovascular issue is still existing. I was put on permanent medication.

Dr. Clawson was very thorough, explained the causes of my complaints, and answered all my questions to my satisfaction.

Dr. Clawson was prompt, easy to talk to, and became an important part of my care team with follow-ups following my procedure.

Do not let him work on you. Had to go to a different surgeon to get fixed because Dr Clawson screwed up! His mind is slowing down.

This man was arrogant, took over an hour to even see me just to say he was offended that I would come to him instead if another physician. He was recommended thus my reason to see him. After some heated words he told me that do to my convenience he would not have time to help me and walked out of the room. I have never been treated so horribly or belittled by physician in my life. I think it's time you retired.
