Worst doctor and staff I have ever encountered. Treat the elderly as just that, they are just “old people” Zero compassion. Go elsewhere.

Wonderful man. Takes time to talk with you and explain questions and concerns. Best internist/family practitioner I have had the good fortune to know in my 63 years.

I was experiencing stomach cramping and the trots for a couple of days from a condition I had been diagnosed with by another MD in the same office. Dr. Cullen was on call when I called requesting the same medication his office prescribed for this. He offered absolutely no help and insisted my only option was to go to the ER. I only wanted the antibiotic to provide some relief that night and would have made an appointment with my doctor the next morning. That wasn’t even an option. It was the ER or suffer, so thanks to Dr. Cullum, I spent a third night with stomach cramps and little to no sleep. Don’t expect help when he’s on call.

Dr Collum does not care about his patients the way a good doctor should. He failed to supply my family member with proper care during their stay at St Claires hospital and it nearly cost them their life (they ended up having to be transferred to a different hospital). Dr Collum is dismissive, lacks thoroughness, and is simply inconvenienced by being a PCP. He was ultimately "fired" by every member of my family as no one felt they were getting proper care.

Dr. Collum takes the time needed with me as a patient. I never feel rushed, or hurried. No question is a silly one and he has an very calm, yet thorough way of communicating. Plus.....he is one of a declining number of MD's who still go to hospitals to take care of patients who are in the hospital.

Dr. Collum is outstanding. Very pleased. I highly recommend.

Dr. Collum cares for my Mother in a nearby nursing home in Denville. My experience with his care has always been positive. He is a caring person and takes time to listen. My rating for the office part of this is limited to two appointments. My opinion is based more on his care in the nursing home. His bedside manner with Mom is incredible. Mom is a longtime RN who served in WWII. Once a nurse, always a nurse. She trusts him implicitly.

While I believe Dr. Collum is knowledgeable, courteous and truly cares about the patient I canâ??t say the same about the staff there. Trying to get a prescription filled via a fax from my health care insurance company was delayed due to no reply from the office. This has been standard practice over the years Iâ??ve been seeing Dr. Collumn. One other item that irks me is when I have left a message for the doctor or nurse to call back it usually takes a couple of tries before it actually happens.

I have been seeing Dr. Collum for over 10 years. Even after I moved out of the immediate area, I have continued to drive the extra 15-20 minutes to see him. He is thorough and calm. He treats me with respect even when I am asking queations that might seem stupid. He spends time with me in both the examination room and his office. I feel for r unate to have found him as my primary care physician.
