Dr. Robert Alan Cook, MD

I have been a patient of Dr Cook since 1992. He has taken care of my entire family, my daughter since her birth. He’s the best!! He always is accurate with diagnosing any condition we have and referring us to specialists when appropriate. He has been available to me at all times of the night when necessary. He knows and cares about all of us and that means the world! We are currently living three hours from his office, but we make the drive because we trust him so much and it’s worth having the relationship we have established with him over the years. Thank you Dr Cook!!

Been going to Dr Cook since I was 20 and I’m now 44. My family goes there too. I do most of my i prescription fill there and the portal the made keeps track of all your lab draws , urinalysis test. I’ve never had an issue and Dr Cook never talks to you. It’s always his nurses and PA. Well I was going through a hard time and spent some time with parents. We got in an argument and my parents went to talk to him after hours, and a week later got letter stating they. Couldn’t treat my on a therapeutic level and I had not done some of the medical advice he said to do. Well that wasn’t true at all. He may have said something to my mom but I’m not doing something she thinks I should do.. I if that’s the kind of medical advice he’s talking about he’s a quack. If you want me to do something tell me face to face not to my parents. Now I can’t find a Dr that will prescribe all the meds I need. I have to go to 3 different ones. Oh and you aren’t longer in his office talking to him more then 5… minutes. On that note, I asked what I did to not take his medical advice or. Therapeutic advice. All he’s good for is writing scripts

When looking for a family doctor, I want someone who will treat my problem if they can, and refer me if they can't. I had a small skin lesion, adult onset epilepsy, and diabetes. My husband has been sent to a specialist after Dr. Cook diagnosed a problem, and he had surgery when the specialist found cancer. I feel that I can legitimately state that he has played a lifesaving role in our family's health. I endorse his medical practice 100%.

Dr. Cook, is our family physician. I think Dr.Cook, is highly knowledgeable, has a direct, informative and caring bedside manner, which I and my sons, greatly appreciate. The office staff is efficient, friendly and always helpful. I would not want any other physician taking care of my family and myself. Dr. Cook, is the best!

Many people like Dr. Cook. If all you need is the most basic care, he'll do. You can get an appointment quickly, you won't have to wait long, and he'll write you a prescription and get you on your way. If you want a caring doctor who will spend the time to listen to you, then ask questions about your condition to be sure to get the right diagnosis, then Dr. Cook is not for you. I've learned the hard way that good doctors are very hard to find. When you do find one, they're booked. A good doctor will inconvenience you because he's spending time giving other patients the best of care. You'll also get the best of care when your turn comes, but you must be willing to wait. That's just how it seems to work.

I've seen Dr Cook for 28 years- my entire existence! I moved away from Dallas but continue to see my Doctor.

If I could rate zero, I would. I saw Robert Cook for over 20 years. He was once not as much of an insensitive, rather cold doctor that he is now. After I developed multiple health issues, he was out of his comfort zone and would just throw drugs at the problem. After I discovered some ethical and patient care issues, I wouldn't recommend him to my worst enemy. Please be your own advocate with this "doctor"!

Dr Cook is a great guy and a wonderful doctor. I highly recommend him.

I have been seeing Dr. Cook since he started his practice. He has always spent as much time with me as I have needed. I have multiple illnesses so this is no small feat. He is thorough and relaxed. Every medical symptom is discussed completely. If I could give him a higher rating I would. I have seen multiple Doctors and he is outstanding!
