Dr. Robert David Cooper, MD

In our first introductory visit with Dr Cooper, I mentioned very recent loss of bowel control. Dr Cooper immediately looked up my health history. He noted a moderate stenosis back problem on my chart. He was very quick and knowledgeable to look at multiple symptoms and came up with a possible diagnosis that could be severe and would require immediate surgery. He Dbl checked his finding with CT SCAN and Ultrsound which confirmed his original diagnosis and sent us straight to hsp by ambulance. Hospital confirmed all his thoughts and I was in surgery next day. If not for Dr Cooper caring attitude plus vast experience I would likely be wearing a colostomy bag the rest of my life. What we all need to get through this life is a great caring doctor, like Dr Cooper--so so good, and a good lawyer. I feel very blessed to have Dr Cooper watching out for me. Thank you Dr Robert Cooper, with my whole heart.

Don't select Dr Cooper I was unable to understand what he was telling me yesterday Aug 16th at the VA facility in St. Cloud mn I had exrays of my left knee and both hips I called yesterday the 17th to get the results and I was again unable to understand I was really getting exasperated I told him I will do PT at a chiropractor in Pelican Rapids MN and requested a pain med he basically told me no to the pain med to get it from the chiropractor

I wouldn't hold the lack of ease of getting an appointment against any doctor. All the internal medicine doctors here in Billings are booked heavily. It took 3 weeks to get in, but I was offered an immediate appointment with the physician's assistant or the nurse practitioner. The reception staff is excellent & made me feel welcome & cared for. I waited about 10 minutes, faster than usual. I loved his nurse-very friendly & personable. I am not completely diagnosed yet, but I am confident he will figure it out. He is quiet, asks pertinent questions, but does not say much...not necessarily a bad thing. He spent almost 30 minutes with me, ordered what I think are appropriate tests, and I got a follow up in 2 weeks.
