Dr. Robert Osterman Cotes, MD

Dr. Cotes is a very compassionate and caring doctor. He loves his patients and takes the time to take care of them. My son is diagnosed with schizophrenia and recently had a break down because he stopped taking his medication. The road was very rough for me because he was exhibiting severe psychosis, he was not eating or drinking and so became dehydrated, To add to the dilemma, his blood pressure went sky-rocketing. My son refused to go to the doctor but with the help of the counsellors he eventually reached the hospital . All throughout the problems, I communicated by email to Dr. Cortes and he always responded to me in a short period of the time. Prior to my son being admitted to psychiatric floor Dr. Cotes made the necessary arrangements for my son to be admitted on the medical floor to receive treatment for the dehydration and the high blood pressure. Now my son is doing much better. Kudos to Dr. Cotes. You are the best!!

You will never find a more caring, dedicated, and diligent doctor. He cares about his patients and goes far beyond what a 'normal' doctor would do. I would recommend him to anyone who has a loved one with Schizophrenia--he can give you answers, he is patient, and above all he understand the problems that a family faces.
