Dr. Robert Montgomery Craig

I cannot believe this website continues to allow the long standing no name, no verification 1star non-reviews and removes my positive, life saving, and my wife's experience with Dr. Craig. 1) years ago I addressed there is no verification of the 1-Star complainant 2) We verified our ID: Doug and Rae Tally. 3) former grateful and healthy patients of Dr. Priest due to his treatment. 4) my medical story is published in the AMA Medical Journal and verifiable published 31 years ago as 42 year old with crohns disease of the duodenum.

Dr. Craig is an excellent doctor. After having a GI condition that left me unable to work for 2 weeks without being diagnosed by my primary care physician, Dr. Craig squeezed me into his schedule and had me tested, diagnosed and on treatment for ulcertive colitis within three days. The comments below about breast exams are from uninformed patients. The exams are to test lymph nodes, which can occur with certain GI conditions. I am 28 yo female and had my mom accompany to the exam because I was very weak and unable to drive. She is a physician assistant for 20+ years and said this is totally normal and more complete than doctors that skip it. Dr. Craig is still keenly alert and on the top of his game, despite some of the comments here. He may be 70 but his mental abilities are more acute than many physicians I've seen. I'd highly recommend him to family and friends.

Dr Craig is a genius! i have been plagued with chronic constipation and have been to other doctors for years. My conditiion was complicated by Pheochromacytoma and chemo, but his regimen got me normal in a week. My life is changed because of this great doctor.

Improper conduct I also received a surprise breast exam from Dr Craig- at the time, I thought it was a bit strange but also wrote it off potentially useful. But having read the below review, it looks like there is a trend here that everyone should know about. I'm also hearing from several people that Dr Craig is too old to be practicing which tells me he may not be diagnosing correctly. My issues haven't gone away so am seeing another GI shortly

Dr. Craig diagnosed me with IBS. I did not improve with treatment. I saw another Gastro who diagnosed me with an intestinal parasite. Also, Dr. Craig gave me a surprise breast exam during my exam without forewarning me or having a nurse present in the room. This is NOT common practice.
