Dr. Robert William Dallara, MD

My mother has a chronic open wound on her leg that she has been suffering with for over 3 years. She has been in and out of the operating room getting it debrided and is about to go for her third skin graft. Dr. Dallara was her pain management doctor for a portion of this. With any pain management doctor, drug tests will be given to not only make sure the medications being prescribed are being taken but also to make sure street drugs are not being done. TWICE, she was seen within a day or two of having surgery on her leg, they drug tested her, and the medications given to her DURING SURGERY would show. You would think this doctor would be smart enough to look at her records to see what medications were used during her surgery and keep that in mind. Instead, he accused her of being a drug addict, fired her from his practice, and referred her to a drug rehab facility. She is still struggling with this pain and can only get a limited supply of pain meds after surgery because of this doc.

Saw doctor Aug. 3, he said a nerve stimulator would help. Gave me a prescription for oxy. And that’s it! No follow up appointment, no help with pain, no anything. Called about neck pain, was told to see neurologist. Neurologist asked why pain management could not help, it’s their job description. Called Dallara again, was told he can only do one thing at a time, so waiting on nerve stimulator. Past 3 months, and several calls to his office and nothing. Worst doctor ever!

I have been going to see Dr. Dallara for over 2 years and he has never once addressed me by name. It wouldn’t be so bad if I was getting any better but I no better off than when I first started going. It’s just push a bunch of pills at me and be on your way.

I went to see Dr Dallara for Chronic Back pain. I was not seeking medications for treatment, I wanted a solution. He was honest and upfront about the way medications are handled and I was perfectly ok with the office policies. He found solutions that work for me and I rarely use the medications prescribed as I do not like to be drowsy constantly. He is warm, funny and very human.

I love this doctor!! He is very personable and takes his time answering all my questions and concerns.

I have had several appointments with Dr. Dallara. He has always been kind, thoughtful and considerate in a professional manner. More importantly he is the most thorough doctor I have ever been to. I am 75 years old and have seen many doctors in my years. Dr. Dallara is the first one to possess all these qualities. I have read some negative reviews about him that call him arrogant and even a jerk. I haven't been exposed to either of those problems (assuming they really exist) but if I were I would overlook them and no one would ever hear about it because the above mentioned positive qualities far outweigh anything negative I might see. Anyway, no one is perfect.

Robert William Dallara doesn't honor the privacy of your health. I will never go back to him!

I had a bad experience, in the past with a pain doctor. This doctor is the complete opposite, what a truly knowledgeable and caring doctor. He is down to earth and explains things thoroughly. I HIGHLY recommend him.

complete moron he must have knew a higher up to get in the practice and I do not know how he has his license but who ever gave it to him should be jailed he is garbage

Dr. Dallara is an amazing Dr. He has been patient and kind to me throughout my journey with DDD. He is always willinh to liaten to what my concerns are and takes the time to explain thinga to mw. This is one Dr that is very straightforward about opioids and the dangers of them. If you are Dr shopping keep moving. Dallara seeks therapeutic alternatives for opioids. I'm 27 and have been in constant pain for 10 years after a MVA. Dallara has been the only Dr that has understood what I am going through.
