Dr. Robert L. Daschbach D.D.S.
Dr. Robert L. Daschbach was born in Pittsburgh, PA. He is the middle child of seven siblings. Dr. Daschbach attended Central High School where he was president of the National Honor Society. Dr. Bob was also a Pennsylvania State Champion in wrestling while in high school. Upon graduation, he was awarded a full scholarship to attend Washington and Jefferson College.
An accomplished wrestler, Dr. Bob was Washington & Jefferson’s first wrestler to become a NCAA All-American, earning a 5th place National Title at the Division III Level in 1975. He graduated with a Bachelor of Science Degree in Psychology/Biology from Washington & Jefferson College in 1978.
Upon graduation from Washington & Jefferson, Dr. Bob was accepted into Temple University School of Dentistry. While attending dental school Dr. Bob received high honors in both Oral Surgery and Crown & Bridge. In addition, Dr. Bob worked in the Psychology Department at Temple in the area of Dental Fear. …On the weekends he was just as busy teaching racquetball! Dr. Daschbach graduated from Temple University School of Dentistry in 1982.
After dental school Dr. Bob was awarded a dental residency at Mercy Suburban Hospital in Norristown, PA. While doing his residency there, he met his wife Donna at the hospital after she had been in a car accident. They were married in October 1983.
In October 1984 Dr. Bob opened his own practice in Kulpsville, PA. That same day Donna gave birth to their daughter Amanda!
In the next years to follow Dr. Bob earned his Fellowship Degree in general dentistry and is currently working on his Mastership’s Degree. Dr. Bob is very interested in dental education, and loves taking new courses, which help him provide his patients with the most up to date procedures and cutting edge technology.
Dr. Bob is very active in the community and with his church. Outside the office he can be found skiing, biking, golfing & playing racquetball!
