Wonderful Physician! Takes time, does a fantastic job to understand you.

Dr Donawa took time to learn of my husbands health history. He was kind and compassionate. He came up with a plan to further investigate his health issues. We are so blessed God directed us to him

Dr Donawa has been our family doctor for many years. He is kind, courteous and professional. He explains everything and is responsive to our needs. His team is top notch. A five star medical team.

2-1-2020. Dr. Robert Donawa, is my Family Physician. My former Doctor made False Medical Reports about me. I do not have Memory Loss, I can Remember, everything in my Life. I have Wittness some Traumic Events, and Assaulted by my Nieghbors, which I had to go to the ER at the Hospital. Medical Records of my Injuries. Patient of Dr. Robert Donawa.

Sept. 23 2018. Dr Donawa, my last doctors visit, I notice that there is something wrong with the office management. Robin, office person wanted me to answer Medicare questions about my health over the phone and not during my doctors visit. She is not a Liscene Nurse, for Dr Donawa, against Hippa Law to do this to senior patient. So exactly what is going on with Robin, being allowed to do this, when Medicare would not allow this to continue at Perrysburg Family Physicians. The American Medical Association should know and have an Inveatagation. Patient

The only negative thing about having Dr. Donawa is the excessive wait time when you go in for an appointment. He is very detail-oriented and thourogh. He will explain different options besides pushing meds and will give you information to aid any decision. He truly seems to care and even though they are extremely overbooked constantly, he will make sure you do not leave confused. He is knowledgable, not just relying on a symptom checker to help him diagnose issues. Even if he is booked up, the other doctors at the practice are willing to see you as well. Dr. Neiswander was also very pleasant. I was very impressed Dr. Donawa does not seem influenced by drug rep traffic and treats with his medical judgement rather than pushing what's set in front of his face. Staff is also generally agreeable. If you're looking for a doctor who will take the time to help you stay healthy, is willing to investigate when something is wrong, and doesn't give you $300 worth of scripts to get filled and send… you on your way, this is your guy. They also have Saturday hours for urgent illness. Nice practice.

When I went to him when he worked in Swanton, I loved him! He was very polite and actually seemed like he cared about me and my problems! I miss him and wish I could be his patient again!

This guy is a real jerk. He misdiagnosed me as just having "normal" pain and I ended up in the ER. He lets his Nurse Practioners do the work for him; you will see him for ten minutes, tops. You will always be waiting for an hour after your scheduled appointment just to get in the room. Don't bother.
