Dr. Robert Joseph Dorff, MD

Terrible experience with Dr. Dorff who seemed disconnected, unconcerned, totally unable or unwilling to communicate with me as a human being or as a patient. After weeks in the hospital under his less-than-caring attitude and inability to help my condition I discharged myself and subsequently successfully recovered (he told my dear friends that I was going to die). Further he wrote damaging and prejudicial, also completely untrue, statements in his notes (about me) that were passed on to my other consulting physician and are now "out there," in order to cover his own loss of a patient. Pure slander. Steer clear.

More attention to friendliness on behalf of staff would be helpful Doc is great Efficiency could be greatly improved

Dorff wasted two years of my life before I went to Dr Henry Lavine who immediately diagnosed that I had acklasia a very serious and rare condition. Don't waste serious time.

I had rectal bleeding for five days. I was an established patient. I called and that afternoon he made room for me at the end of his day. He immediately setup the hospital out patient appointment. He did a colonoscopy to discover the cause. He promptly handled my issue and I am very happy with his services and staff. Also, he is the only doctor I have ever had that personally calls you the next day and asks how you are, answers your questions, and summarizes what he found. I would never use anyone else for this specialty.

Dr. Dorff is an excellent and caring physician. He never seems too hurried to listen to the patient, and he is a careful and accurate diagnostician. He has an efficient and pleasant office staff, but he returns his own patient calls personally. He enjoys a first-rate reputation in Central Florida, and in addition, he is a real gentleman. Did I also mention that he is an expert in his specialty!

Have been going to for over 20 years and always have been satisfied with all aspects of his handling my tests and resulting findings.
