Dr. Eager is the most compassionate, caring, and most accurate at diagnosing I’ve ever met. I have experience with many doctors as a patient and surgeries so I know who’s good and who sucks. Dr. Eager is not only the best internist Doctor I’ve had ,but as a person he accepts everyone how they are as an individual with no negative judgement. For real! For example, even if you can’t follow his recommended weight management plan for you, he understands, respects, and acknowledges you being human who has your own challenges. He still care about you and accept you with whatever good or bad choices you make. I think many people with weight management challenges, myself included, can have difficulty with food portion control and not making healthier food choices, not exercising. This as we know can all lead to gaining more weight. It’s your kuliana and not anyone elses for choices you make. In other words, it can sometimes be easier to blame others (such as your doctor) for when you can’t… follow through with the doctor’s recommended weight management plan and you don’t get the results you want. Dr. Eager like a passenger in your car who can navigate for show you where to go, but ultimately you are the Driver in the driver’s seat that’s responsible.. I like it when a person, like Dr. Eager, is truthful and honest by being straight up but understanding at the same time. Anyone who’s given Dr. Eager a bad review may have hard time accepting their own choices that they made for not getting healthier and losing weight. I believe knowing your true self and accepting how you are and your challenges is the only way to start positive change in your life. It’s hard because I like eat and will always like eat. If you can Talk honestly with Dr. Eager with what’s really going on with you, he can help you better and no need to feel shame because he accept you as you are. He’s human just like you and me and feels equal to you and me. If you no like or don’t want to follow through with the plan of care or feel no need to see him anymore, then say so to Dr. Eager so he can help you and point you in a direction better for you. It’s us patients that are truly responsible for the choices we make or don’t make. Be real because that’s the only way you going to make real change and this doctor will help you! He’s one of da bestest of da Bestest! And no matter where he from, he has pure Aloha in his heart and that what matters. If can, can and if no can, still can and if still no can, Dr. Eager still love you as you are! Aloha
