I had several colonoscopies by Dr. Eisdorfer and he is by FAR the best. He has the lowest number of perforations, torques more than any other GI Dr, (which is a good thing), and is faster, safer and more careful at looking for polyps than anyone else I've seen, and I've seen hundreds of colonoscopies! You won't go wrong.

Dr. Eisdorfer retired a couple of years ago due to back problems that prevented him from continuing to practice.

My wife, Harriet Sturm, underwent three colonoscopy in three years before she was diagnosed with Stage 3 colon cancer. Dr. Eisdorfer did not follow Dr. Levin's recommendation, that my wife be given another colonoscapy five weeks later. Instead, eighteen months later, my wife's family doctor recommended she be given a colonoscopy because he could not control her being anemic. The third colonoscopy in three years found my wife had Stage 3 colon cancer. Had Dr. Eisdorfer followed Dr. Levin's recommendation, the diagnosis might have been Stage 1 or 2 and not 3.

Simply the best! Dr. Eisdorfer has been treating me for over 15 years and has saved me from more serious outcomes many times. Thanks to his diligence and meticulous care, multiple serious conditions have been diagnosed and sucessfully treated. He is literally a lifesaver. Dr. Eisdorfer and staff are professional, courteous and personable. Patients are immediately put at ease andtreated with respect. Highly recommend!
