He is the worst doctor I have ever had, He comes in introducing himself, and after that tell me we need to set up a time for a biopsy.I have had two biopsies before, both with complications, so I was not ready for another one without discussing it with him. He said if you do not want a biopsy there would be no more time to talk with him, and he walked towards the door,as he told me you are going to die of prostate cancer. He did not give me any chance to talk.

I was forced to lower my pants for a Hernia check in front of a female Dr. Dr. Elkins thought I was pimping him for painkillers.. Never going back!

Dr. Elkins seemed nice enough, but was more focused on talking rather than listening. He suggested an invasive test which I initially decided against. Had he not followed-up as much as he did with calls and letters I likely wouldn't have gone through with it. He's effective, but really needs to work on at least pretending to care.

hand on the door ready to leave the second he walked in. Dr. Elkins was not friendly or considerate. He miss diagnosed my problem which made me feel terrible until I got two other opinions which agree that my "problem" was very minor and not as drastically severe as Dr. Elkins suggested. He never actually paid any attention to me and truly looked into my symptom instead he spent a total of 2 min. with me and told me the "bad" news and headed out the door. Terrible way to treat anyone

He just walked in, asked two questions and never asked me if I had any other concerns. He spent exactly 5 minutes of which I spoke less than 20 seconds. I would not recommend his for anybody. He does not care.

I have been seeing Dr. Elkins since 1995. He is the most caring, considerate and compassionate doctor I have ever had. And I have had many. I have been to 4 different hospitals for 12 surgeries with him, and when I go into pre-op all the nurses comment on how good he is. That says a lot about a doctor. His nurses and office staff are all wonderful and caring. When you have serious medical problems it is such a blessing to be cared for by wonderful and caring people that are the best in their field.
