Dr. Robert Victor Ellis, MD

Excellent in every way

Dr. Ellis is one of those doctors who rushes you in and out of the door with no advice or treatment other than a prescription. He is not open or knowledgable about alternatives to pills nor does he take the time with his patients to figure out what they value. Won't be returning.

Dr. Ellis is rude, smug, and thinks he knows everything. Avoid at all costs.

Dr. Ellis is a nice man with a calm interaction style.

I called for a last-minute appt. on Saturday. I got in immediately. he diagnosed me quickly and accurately and the in office-procedure was done. The staff gave me a summary of my visit.

I saw the doctor for high blood pressure due to stress at work. At 60+, I have never had high blood pressure until recently. I talked with a third year med student for about 90 minutes, and the doctor for about 10 minutes. He said we would check my blood pressure in a month. I had to go to WebMD and The Mayo Clinic website to get information about what, besides stress, could be raising my blood pressure, and how I might monitor and lower it. I won't be going back.

-He seemed pleasant and professional at first, but this degraded to being addressed in a condescending, pseudo-caring manner.-He dismissed concerns without discussing them.-He did not do anything about the main problem for the visit.-Another doctor has since solved the problem.-I would not recommended this doctor to a friend.
