Dr. Emmons is absolutely the best !!! He is the most caring , patient , and most compassionate doctor I have ever been treated by. Not to mention, that he is a medical genius . I was being treated by him in New Orleans and now that he has moved to Louisville, Kentucky, I travel there to see him for my continued routine visits. I would highly recommend him and his staff to anyone.

I was a patient of Dr. Emmons in New Orleans and thoroughly enjoyed working with him in getting rid of my MDS. I'm not out of the woods of the pesky GVHD yet, but i'm considering continuing to see even in Memphis if he'll agree to see me. He's THAT good. You'll be lucky to have him as your Doctor.

I recently wrote a review on Dr. Emmons and for some reason it is marked with a four star which is absolutely incorrect . There aren’t enough stars in the sky to rate this doctor. I would highly recommend him to anyone. He has been my ANGEL ?? !!! It’s been 19 months since my transplant and because of him, I’m doing great. You will never have a connection or special bond with any doctor more then you will with the doctor that saved your life. He was my doctor here in New Orleans and has since moved to Louisville Kentucky to continue giving his gift and saving lives at the James Graham Brown Cancer Center. Now he is my doctor in Kentucky. Although my visits are getting fewer and far between because I am doing so well, I would follow him around the world to be treated by him if the need should ever arise again. His #1 FAN Tina Gioe

There just aren’t enough words to express my overall experience with Dr.Emmons. The good Lord gave him a gift and in turn , he has used it to give his patients a gift of hope and life. Not only is he the BEST doctor I’ve ever had but he is genuinely such a good caring person. Not one time while I’ve been in his care have I feared death . I’ve probably been a thorn in his side at times and he’s had to deal with my sensitive emotions, he never turned his back on me . From day one I knew he was the doctor for me and during the darkest days of my life he shined the light and brought me such an unexplainable inner peace. He’s not God but he’s the next best thing. I highly recommend him to anyone.

Dr. Emmon has one if not the best bedside manner. He is well knowledge in treating patient with MM disease. I am currently in remission.

I could not sing Dr. Emmons' praises enough! I have aplastic anemia and have been to several different hospitals and cancer centers, including Memorial Sloan-Kettering in NYC. The care I received by Dr. Emmons and his staff at Temple Fox-Chase was far superior to the care I received elsewhere. He has such a kind and caring demeanor, and will sit and talk with you and your family as long as it takes to make sure you completely understand everything. His entire staff is extremely nice and compassionate; ensuring you (AND your family) are comfortable and as relaxed as possible is their top priority. I have had five bone marrow biopsies (two by his staff) and they are the only ones who medicated me beforehand. If you have a rare bone marrow disease and/or need a bone marrow or stem cell transplant, you are in GREAT hands with Dr. Emmons and the staff of Temple-Fox Chase BMT Program.
