Dr. Robert Joseph Fabsik, DO

Had a bad experience Feb.2017. I gave the doctor a chance to apologize. He didn't. Last visit he was not professional, bad bedside manner, rude. Doctor raised his voice at me because I insisted on him having a third book-gift. He said he would throw in garbage.It was about 5.00 not a big deal. He said his wife had the second book already, so I wanted him to have this. It was about the afterlife because I was experiencing signs about it. Seemed like narcisstic abuse like my mother. Also billing double charged me at least three times. I didn't feel respected and I feel bad how he treated me. I thought he cared a little. This shows he doesn't.

You will have to wait 4 months for an appointment. Then if you try to reschedule less than 5 days in advance he tries to charge you $325. He requires your social security number so he can send you to collections and credit card info for co-pays to bill as he wants. It seemed to me like all he cares about is money. I’m going somewhere else...I just wish I knew this 4 months ago.

Most doctors in this field (My experiences) are very low key with not much personality. Dr Fabsik is outgoing and friendly. He has not given up treating me.

He’s great, came to him when my life felt like a mess, the progress he has helped me make is INCREDIBLE. He worked with me even at the beginning when I was having hard financial times. I recommend his office all the time, his front desk staff is wonderful and they accommodate me all the time whether I am traveling or the pharmacy is having issues themselves, Dr. Fabsik and his office always go the extra mile. Can’t recommend enough.

I came to him with concerns of side effects and he told me I was over reacting. It wasn't until I showed him these side effects were well documented in peer reviewed articles from medical journals that he acknowledged the issue. Not many patients would have the resources to research their medication in a medical journal, that should have been Dr. Fabsik's job.

I couldn’t be more pleased with the treatment I receive from Dr. Fabsik. I have been seeing him for several years, and I couldn’t possibly trust anyone else. He is careful to prescribe, has always laid out options for me & side-effects and/or what to expect and wants a sooner follow up to monitor changes closely. I don’t feel rushed during my appointments which is extremely important to me. Yes-you might not get in right away your first appointment; however, I have heard this is the case with other doctors that have a good reputation/large client base. I assure you, you won’t be sorry once you get going.

Excellent psychiatrist. Knows his stuff and is able to communicate with patients. Doesn't just tell someone what to take - he explains what and why. Follows up afterwards. Cares about his patients. And the office staff is wonderful!

My last doctor had me in and out within 5 minutes. Literally asked "how are you" and proceeded to write script. Dr. Fabsik spent so much time asking me questions and telling me about different medications. Really got to know me, my history.

In my initial interview (came to the doctor for severe depression, something Ive been successfully treated for in the past) Dr. Kabisk immediately latched onto a simple symptom of the disease (minor alcohol use and caffeine use) and refused to treat me, or speak with me until I, somehow, on my own dealt with this first.Pathetic excuse for a doctor. Its no wonder hes was the only Psychiatrist in my area available for an immediate appointment! Please, if you feeling suicidal, DO NOT see this guy first!

There is really no wait time, the appointments are pretty much help when they were scheduled. It may be a little hard to get an initial appointment but after that appointments are easy to schedule
