Dr. Robert Joseph Fakheri, MD

Dr Fakheri is great! Endlessly patient, he is very thorough in his patient interaction and inspires confidence. He trained with my physician daughter at NYU. It was she who recommended him highly to me. I suspect no one can better assess the competence of a physician than a working colleague!

Dr Fakeri has been my PCP for a number of years. He is first rate. This visit was my annual wellness exam. Wait times are always negligible, staff is great. Dr F is always prepared and familiar with my chart. My health has improved as a result of his care. Extremely prompt, attentive and accessible. Terrific manner.

Dr. Fakheri was great. Asking many questions, he listened until he understood, even though he was not my regular doctor. That may very well change.

When my husband was having back and leg pain after a fall but had to get bloodwork, we called Dr Fakheri about getting X-rays too. He immediately set up a Zoom visit, which took place in the bloodwork clinic’s waiting room. He set up CAT scans for a few days later. He took my husband’s pain seriously.

Took the time to answer all my questions.

Dr Fakheri listened to my husband’s problems and set up specialists to take care of them. He gave us phone numbers in the portal to make it easier to organize. He gave reasons for changes in medications and told us that a new medication was effective in lowering his cholesterol. It was encouraging.

Dr. Fakheri is unequivocally the best doctorI have ever experienced. He has in-depth knowledge.He listens to your concerns and has sincere interest in your well-being. Unlike ay offices,his staff is accessible and sets up appointents,even on short notice. I am confident , my health issues are n excellent hands. A gem!

I had a good visit with Dr Fakheri. He was careful in his observations, not ruling anything out while narrowing the possibilities. I appreciate him organising an ultrasound to check my condition while giving me the option to go to ER. With the ultrasound we were able to determine that my pain was not an emergency and the pain subsided eventually. We will tackle the issue after the long weekend.

Dr Fakheri has been the PCP for myself and my husband since March 2022 & we consider ourselves beyond fortunate to be on his roster. He is one in a million in the medical profession: smart, modest, exceedingly dedicated, thorough, caring, concerned without being alarmist; returns emails almost instantaneously through the Weill Cornell portal; always willing to respond to any questions; provides detailed, helpful answers and info; he remembers and reviews our entire medical history at each visit; checks in to see how we are feeling (!)--even if we have a procedure or test with another doctor (!), & if all this were not enough, he never, ever gives off that doctor "I'm in a rush" vibe. Makes us feel like we are his only patients. Incredible. Dr. Fakheri is the Real Deal.
