Dr. Robert L Fallstrom, DO

I went in as a new patient walk-in and even though I had to wait for quite a long time (probably just due to me being a new patient/walk-in) he made my visit worth it. After all the other Dr's I've seen who didn't listen to a word I said, and who seemed as though they knew less than I did, I was pleased by my visit w/ Dr. Fallstrom. He did listen to what I said and took the time to accurately diagnose me. He told me that it was a bacteria related illness. I asked him if it could be bronchitis, and even though he seemed hesitant to commit to that exactly, he said that it was that or something like it. I think the only reason why he didn't want to commit to that diagnosis entirely was just a precaution to keep from getting sued if he happens to be wrong. That is ok with me just as long as I have a general idea of what it is. (If it was something more life threatening maybe I'd want a more specific answer, but it's not). I'd rather a doctor recognize that there is a slight possibility… that they could be wrong than one who refuses to acknowledge that they could be wrong and continues to misdiagnose. It is also better than the response I got from the Healthy Now Clinic who just dismissed it as allergies and didn't do a thing to really check it out. They prescribed me Flonase which just made it worse. Apparently you're not supposed to prescribe steroid based drugs for bronchitis. On top of that I don't have insurance so the other clinic not only wasted my time but my money as well.
