Dr. Farivar provided a worst case scenario for the needed procedure (aortic valve replacement and double bypass). It was slightly scary but living this debilitated was worse than death. I obviously made it through (three weeks post-op). I feel better than I did before surgery. This is not a walk in the park procedure but Dr. Farivar provided sufficient warning for my wife to be well aware of what could go wrong. I expect never to need this again. If you are in need, I recommend Dr. Farivar.

My visit with Dr. Robert Farivar at his local office was pleasant, educational, professional, and all around exceptional. The apt. was for post op for an emergency Aorta Dissection repair performed by Dr. Farivar at Northwest Medical Center where he performed the complicated procedure which saved my life. At the local office, his team was prompt in welcoming me upon entering the suite, were all professional, and courteous in their communication. During the post op apt., Dr. Farivar took the time to answer all my questions and concerns about the surgery and future recovery. His caring and understanding nature helped me relax and feel comfortable with the information I was receiving and the next steps to take. I recommend Dr. Robert Farivar to anyone in need of excellent Cardiothoracic Doctor/Surgeon.
