Dr. Robert Farron, DO

This doctor needs to be more considerate and caring towards his patients. He is dealing with elderly patients and he is NOT trying to get to the root cause of what the patient is going through. Not sending them to the appropriate specialists. My mom requested to see a specialist. His office gave her 3 Drs. who were NOT on her plan. She had to go through her Ins. Co. to get the name of someone she can see. In that ONE visit that doctor pin pointed what her issue was and was able to address it. Although Dr. Farron AND his office swore she did not need to see this type of specialist. He prescribed meds that my mom did NOT need that was totally useless for her. After numerous visits, his recommendation was "if the meds dont work, tell her to go to the ER. They can do a CT and see what is causing her pain". He is her PCP, yet he has NO IDEA why she is suffering and yet still insist she did not need to see this specialist. His nurse even repeated the same thing to me when she… called. Yet, again that "specialist" was able to help her in ONE VISIT. He should NOT be allowed to treat the elderly. They deserve better than that.

Dr. Farron is smart and intuitive. He has been my doctor for 30 years plus. He has a great staff in Rockaway and now that I live in Nassau County, I go to his Valley Stream Office and they are good too. Bari, his physician Assistant is phenomenal. His son, Eric, has joined him in both offices and he is a very good doctor too. Dr. Robert Farron is a great diagnostician and has a good bedside manner. I can not imagine using anyone else as my primary care physician. I was not feeling well in 2009 and he sent me to the hospital for tests. I had cancer and he was there for me. I am in remission now and he is still there for me. A fellow law student introduced me to his office more than 30 years ago and I am grateful for that introduction. Christina Hall, Esq.

Have been his patient for 30 years, both he and his son are excellent physicans. Yhey are very knowledgable and kind and compassionate.
