Dr. Robert Elloit Feder, MD

I've been seeing Dr Feder for about 5/6years now. He truly cares about his patients and really listens to my concerns. I feel so comfortable talking to him about anything- I look forward to my appointments. He has a calming demeanor and I feel so safe with him. He gave me my life back. He's extremely knowledgeable about addiction and other mental health issues- I love that I can talk to him about my migraines, depression/trauma and addiction issues. I feel like I could go to him if I relapsed or felt like I was going to relapse- he's that easy to talk to and very nonjudgmental. Anytime I call him he returns my calls personally and goes above and beyond when I have insurance issues. He's a stellar advocate for his patients as well and stays up to date with current events surrounding addiction. We need more doctors like him who are willing to fight for their patients and provide addicts with necessary life saving treatment. I don't know where I would be without Dr. Feder. I feel like… the addiction crisis wouldn't exist if every addict/recovering addict had access to a doctor like him.

You can tell Dr. Feder really cares about his patients. Answers all of your questions with useful information. Actually calls you back himself.

Genuinely cares about his patients. Easy to talk to. Always returns phone calls. Saved my life. May not be taking new patients, though.

I have been working with Dr. Robert Feder for about 6 years now. He is very soft spoken, easy to get along with, has great bedside manner and is a great listener as well as gives great feedback. He is ALWAYS there, by phone if you need him for anything, especially a prescription refill. He has gone ABOVE and BEYOND for me in a couple of emergency situations with medication. He given my life back, gave me peace and tranquility. I HIGHLY recommend Dr. Feder if he is able to take on new patients.

Saw me as a patient for a few years I overpaid him for much of that in the manner that when you miss an appt. without 24 hours notice you have to pay. Well i paid for everyother appt. because of something going on with me and I overpaid by fifty dollars he never said a word for over a year until he started saying I owed him money during a time where I was at my extreme lowest points in my life I ended up owing according to him two hundred dollars and was havign a hard time he didn't consider the fifty could have cared less about my hard time. Sent me away. I now have been unmedicated for over a year and cannot find another psychiatrist. I think he is negligent and should be sued. If i felt better i would bring him down he has almost destroyed my liife over two hundred dollars and not even considering the overpayment for over two years. DO NOT RISK IT

He might come off as rude but it is because he cares.

I found dr feder to be extremely busy, but willing to adjust my appt times when I need them to be. I have never had a problem with him listening to me and helping me out with any problems. great dr.

I called to make an appointment, and was very Rudely told, that by the Doctor Himself, "I"m no longer taking new patients, and promptly hung up!!
