Dr. Robert Jerome Fincher, MD

Doctor was a 5 star, Nurse on the other hand was a zero. I left 2 days of messages for his nurse Linda and didn't receive a call back until the end of the day on the 2nd day. Very un-exceptable and unprofessional of her to not return my several calls and e-mail. All just to get 1 new prescription filled. I am very disappointed in this as a new patient. When I finally spoke to her she was very unhelpful and when I asked to speak to my doctor whom I know was still there after hours, and I was told NO! I asked why and was told because it is after hours she yelled! I have never in my life been treated like this as a new patient of an doctor. Unfortunately I will not be seeing him again due to her. And I thought he was GREAT! To bad for them!

Dr. Fincher was my mother's physician just prior to her death. She died of septism caused by an intestinal infection that she was hospitalized for by Dr. Fincher. During this hospitalization he refused to discuss her condition with me even though she gave full permission. He was very evasive. After discharging her even though she was worse rather than better, I contacted him on multiple occassions to inform him there was some kind of problem with my mother. He told me on the phone that she had nothing wrong with her physically that would cause her death. After her collapsing in my home and the ambulance taking her to the emergency room she died the next morning. In my opinion, my mother could possibly be alive today had he been more attentive as a physician. I was very displeased with his care.
