Dr. Robert Steven Flynn, MD

Dr Flynn is a world renowned specialist that I traveled 11 hours to see- during a pandemic!! He was totally worth it. Not only did he take the time to listen attentively, he picked up on something that no other physician had and was able to FINALLY diagnose and treat me. He is a godsend. I cannot recommend him enough.

My dad has been seeing Dr. Flynn for several years. Recently, my dad had a problem where he couldn’t eat. Dr ordered several test and due to my dad going through Chemo, doc wanted to try the easiest thing instead of putting him thru to much. The medication has allowed he to eat with no problems. Flynn calls after hours to check on him which now days not many doctors do that! He’s amazing and I would highly recommended him to anyone!! He’s always prompt and will try anything to help you! I can not say enough great things about him!! I could say a lot more but cutting it short on here. Bottom line if you have a problem he will work to solve your problem!

Dr. Flynn is caring and compassionate.. He is very knowing about his field and superb in his techniques. He listens and is so patient with my questions... I am a retired RN so I always have my questions.. By comparing him to other doctors I have had or worked with, Dr. Flynn is one of the best!! I recommend him highly and thank him for his care!!! I have traveled through several states trying to diagnose and treat my severe abdominal pain. Dr. Flynn was the only one that successfully diagnosed me and treated me. I am now, for the first time in 17 years, pain free! It may take a while to get an appointment, but he's worth it!

Run from this Dr. He is not able to diagnose your symptoms. He doesn't care about his patients and will blame you when you ask for answers.

Dr. Flynn truly is what the other reviewers said: professional; compassionate; great listener; he puts you at ease and gives you confidence. I have a couple of procedures scheduled for this month, which makes me [anyone?] a bit nervous - but I am hoping for the best. First impression with Dr. Flynn was great, which helps a lot! I was not wanting to have a colonoscopy. But it was time to have one due to a positive result on some testing. With that said I had no idea who to have do this, being we just moved to the area of Richmond. All I have to say is this Dr. is AMAZING! So caring, sensitive and professional! The good news is I don't have to have another for 10 years, but I hope he will be around this area when I have too! Highly recommend him!

I fell ill and my gallbladder had to be removed. My network sent me to Dr. Flynn. The recovery didn't go as planned and I was in more pain than before the surgery. He suggested I extend my leave of absence from work to solve the problem. My employer agreed as long as he faxed in a form to verify the extension. He didn't do it and I was fired. He never found a solution to the pain and I was nearly homeless over a single piece of paperwork. It's been a year and a half and I'm still suffering financially and physically because of his inability to do something simple.
