Dr. Robert A Foster, DDS

Dr. Foster graduated from the Medical College of Georgia in 1973 and opened his own private practice of General Dentistry in Smyrna, Georgia. After five years, he moved his office to the East Cobb area where he has been located ever since.  Many of the patients who first saw him in Smyrna are still patients today. Some of our original patients bring their children as patients to us now. He is married and has a very successful daughter who owns a dance studio in Roswell.
Dr. Foster is an active Emeritus Member of the American Dental Association and the Georgia Dental Association.  He is also an active Emeritus Member in the Academy of General Dentistry. Most recently, Dr. Foster was chosen by Atlanta Magazine as one of Atlanta's top Dentists. Continuing education is a must in this ever changing field of dentistry so  Dr. Foster travels to most of the major conventions taking classes in various areas of his field.  The entire staff attends the annual Hinman Dental Convention in …Atlanta.  The advances in dentistry and the technologies that have come about in the last fifty years are fascinating and there are new ones every day. Our office is always eager to learn about the latest!  We believe that , with such phenomenal advances in dental techniques there is no reason why most people should not be able to keep their natural teeth for a lifetime.  Our goal is to form a strong partnership with our patients to help them attain this.
After taking advanced training in the study of cosmetic dentistry, Dr. Foster decided to offer smile makeovers as part of our general services.  He has enjoyed enhancing the smiles of many of our patients from a simple whitening process to full mouth cosmetic reconstruction.  We believe that by using the latest materials and techniques available a more beautiful smile is in reach for all who desire it.  We would love to evaluate your smile!

Our dedicated staff as one primary goal--your utmost comfort!  We feel it's important that you understand the treatment that you will be receiving so that you can relax during the procedure.  We have massage chairs and relaxing music. Most of our patients say that that treatment here is painless and the best experience they have ever had.  Some even fall asleep with the use of our complimentary Nitrous Oxide during their procedure!
