Dr. Robert Ethan Frank, MD

Please go elsewhere for any reconstruction surgery. Dr. Frank performed my arm lift and it was mediocre at best. The real problem I encountered was his lack of accountability. He made a mistake on my left arm above the elbow, essentially making it look bulky and not like the right elbow. When I first brought it to his attention he noticed the area right away, literally grabbed the "fat pad" (his words)..and said "no problem, I'll fix that when u get your next surgery". After I decided I was not comfortable with him doing any other major surgery, I simply asked if he could just fix my weird elbow. When I went in to set up a corrective surgery appointment, he suddenly "couldn't see the problem " and proceeded to gaslight me with a repeated "its maybe all in your head". Clearly EVERYONE blindfolded or not can see the problem. So now I have to pay one of his peers to fix his mistake. When I saw another surgeon to fix Dr. Frank's mistake, they weren't surprised by that, I believe his… reputation proceeds him. He's known for the good botox injections, not great reconstruction. I dont expect perfection, but I do expect accountability and integrity..which he lacks both. Please go elsewhere, because if he screws something up, he probably won't fix it

His staff and dr.frank are the best great caring people ..he did me a mommy makeover and got me together I love it and u will too..

I had an implant bottom out. After a consult with Dr Frank, we decided to remove them and wait 6 months to put them back in. He is extremely knowledgeable and upfront. His staff is amazing. I love that I can email or call with a question and they get right back to me. I highly recommend this office. I will be going back for all my future surgeries.

I consulted with nearly every plastic surgeon in NW Indiana/Chicagoland. I knew immediately Dr Frank was the right choice. Great personality, listened to my concerns and was sincere about making me feel comfortable. His nurse, Lisa was also wonderful! My results are better than I could have ever imagined. I had a tummy tuck, breast lift, muscle repair and lipo to 4 areas. My boobs are unreal!! No implant and they look like they did in my 20s. My stomach is flat as a board and I'm extremely pleased. If you are considering plastic surgery, consulting with Dr Frank is a must!!

I've been seeing Dr Frank every 2 years or so for filler in my smile lines. This time, he injected too much filler and it was on the side of my nasal labial fold, not in the actual fold. It looked like a thick thread next to the line (and still does). I pointed this out immediately and he told me it was fine, just massage it. After a few days I called and asked to come back and have it dissolved. The patient care coordinator told me he would be on vacation for 2 weeks (strange). I called back a week later and asked for an appointment to have it dissolved. After much phone tag and email tag, the patient care coordinator told me the doctor said I would have to pay $250 for them to order the dissolving agent, because they didn't keep it in stock since he had never used it before. This was shocking because every other doctor in the area said that they don't charge to dissolve filler for their patients. I paid for it over the phone but because I was uneasy about having him do it, I… consulted another plastic surgeon. That surgeon said it was not injected in my nasal labial fold, but I should let Dr. Frank fix it. When I was finally able to see him, he was very short with me, injected it, and told me to call in a few days. I must note that I have been nothing but polite and calm during this whole ordeal because I needed this corrected and was at his mercy. It still looked as if a thick thread was running down the side of my natural fold, so I emailed the pcc and asked her if I could return to get the rest of the solution injected. She emailed me back and said that Dr. Frank said there is nothing left to inject, and no need to return. He said this without ever seeing me in a follow up. In all, I spent $1100 to look 10xs worse than before. Every doctor I called said they dissolve it for free, but only for their own patients. Dr. Frank was very short with me and dismissive, in contrast to his demeanor the other 3 times I had seen him over the past 8 years or so. I'm extremely disheartened at his lack compassion towards me when this would have been so easy for him to correct with one more visit and would have cost him nothing but time.

I have had several surgeries performed by dr frank and I couldn't be more happier with my ending results. I can now wear clothes I've never dreamt of wearing. Thank you Dr Frank and thank you Lisa for your patience and knowledge.

I had breast reduction surgery performed by Dr. Frank and I would highly recommend him to anyone interested in any type of cosmetic procedure. My surgery was very successful due to Dr. Frank's skill. I was comfortable during all aspects from consultation to follow up visits.
